William Meek Hoggatt was born on 18 May 1874 in Cass Co., Missouri.8,9,10He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Union Twp., Wright Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents, Elishia Hoggatt and Naomi Ann Fulton.4 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of High Paririe Twp., Webster Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents.5
William married first Addie P. Goff on 22 Jun 1900 in Buffalo, Dallas Co., Missouri.11
His wife died before 1907, apparently, as he remarried then, and no further record of her has been found.12
William married second Mahala A. George, daughter of John W. George and Mira Purcell, on 6 Jul 1907 in Marchfield, Webster Co., Missouri, with J. M. Terry, Probate Judge, officiating.12
Mahala died before 1910.15
