Narrative:

     James Dewey Reigle was born on 30 May 1898 in Kansas.8,9,10 James and his sister Iva were twins.
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Sumner Twp., Phillips Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents, William David Riegel and Mary J. Quakenbush.4
     He moved to Missouri with his parents by before Mar 1906.18 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Hazelwood Twp., Webster Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents.5
     James moved back to the area where he had lived as a child, and where his older brother John was living, on the Kansas - Nebraska line, by 1918. James registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Neponee, Franklin Co., Nebraska, reporting he was employed as farm laborer for Albert Schluntz at the same place.1
     James seems to have adopted the spelling Reigles between 1920 and 1930, perhaps after he joined his brother John who was using that spelling.19,20
     James appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Mullally Twp., Harlin Co., Nebraska, enumerated 20 Jan 1920, in the household of Albert Schultz, his wife, and two children, as a hired hand on their farm.21
     James married Cora A. Bishop, daughter of John Milton Bishop and Mary Ann Moreland, and sister of the woman his older brother John married the following year, on 22 Dec 1920 in Alma, Harlan Co., Nebraska.11,12,13
     James and Cora and their young son moved to Colorado in 1930 where his brother John and his family were living. James and Cora appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Larimer Co., Colorado, on Lincoln Highway, enumerated 9 Apr 1930, in the same dwelling as his brother John and his wife, who was also her sister. Their son Ervin was listed as living with them.19
     James and Cora moved to Fort Collins in Sep 1937 with his brother John and her sister Laura.22
     James died on 13 Dec 1937, at his home, 331 Scott Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado, at age 39.14,15,16 He was buried in Loveland Burial Park, Loveland, Larimer Co., Colorado.17
