     Mary Ann Moreland was born on 1 Feb 1856 in Illinois.4,5,6
     Mary married John Milton Bishop on 29 Sep 1875 in De Witt Co., Illinois.7,8,9
     Mary and John appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Groveland, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 10 Jun 1880. Their children Elva and Lot were listed as living with them.11
     Mary and John moved to Nebraska in 1896 in a covered wagon.12 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Ragan, Harlan Co., Nebraska, enumerated 16 Jun 1900, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Laura and Cora were listed as living with them.13
     Mary and John appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Ragan, Harlan Co., Nebraska, enumerated 19 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home. Their children Laura and Cora were listed as living with them, as were Bessie Honnold, a 7-year-old niece, and two schoolteachers identified as boarders, Mary Minkner and Itha Cool.14 They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Alma, Harlan Co., Nebraska, at 4th St., enumerated 14 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home. Their children Laura and Cora were listed as living with them.15
     Mary and John moved to Colorado before 1930 apparently moved to Colorado, where children and their families had moved, before 1930. But they have not been found in the 1930 census there, or elsewhere.
     Her husband died on 7 Aug 1930.16
     Mary died on 4 May 1933 at age 77.4 She was buried in Loveland Burial Park, Loveland, Larimer Co., Colorado.10
