     She was a milliner, with her mother and younger sister, before her marriage.19
     Martha married Melcajah Rhaum Toot, son of Melcajah Rhum Toot and Mariah Louis Smith, on 5 Feb 1873 in Halifax Co., Virginia, O. A. Kinsolving officiating.10,11,12
