Frank Akins Cobb was born on 5 Dec 1898 in Lyon Co., Kentucky.8,9,10He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Kuttawa, Lyon Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents, Jefferson Davis Cobb and Mary Ellen Kinsolving.5
He moved to Texas with his parents before 1910. He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census Texas in the household of his parents.6
Frank registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Mullin, Texas, reporting he was employed in farming by his father.2
He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census Texas in the household of his parents.14
Frank married Lillian Davis, daughter of Sam Houston Davis and Mary Elizabeth Boase, on 21 Oct 1922 in Brown Co., Texas, with Rev. L. J. Vann officiating.11,12
