     Frank W. Garrett was born on 14 Sep 1869 in Leavenworth, Kansas.8,9,10
     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents, Robert Garrett and Ellen Mary Cobb.1 He appeared on the 1875 State Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.19
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.20 He appeared on the 1885 State Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.21
     Frank attended public schools in Leavenworth, then graduated from Holbrook's Military Academy, Briarcliff, New York, in 1888.22 He graduated from Hamilton College, Clinton, New York, in 1892 with an A. B. degree.23 He graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1895 with an L.L. B. degree.23
     Frank moved to California in 1895, and joined the law office of White & Monroe.24,25,26
     Frank was named an heir in the will of his father dated 6 Jun 1896, to receive an equal share with his four surviving siblings of his estate after their mother received the family home on South Broadway, $5,000 in government bonds, and half the remaining estate after payment of expenses. The five children were to receive their mother's share after her death.27
     Frank married Sara Gardner Dickinson, daughter of Horace E. Dickinson and Cleantha E. Gardner, on 16 Nov 1899 in Los Angeles Co., California.11,12,13
     Frank and Sara appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 227 West 7th St., enumerated 4 Jun 1900, listed as boarders, along with 30 others, in the home of Herbert G. Dow and his wife and twin daughters.28
     On 1 Jan 1901 he and Walter F. Hass formed a law partnership, under the name of Haas & Garrett. Harry L. Dunnigan joined the firm in Apr 1906 and it became Hass, Garrett & Dunnigan.29,30
     Frank and Sara appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 620 So Grand Ave., enumerated 29 Apr 1910, listed as lodgers. The address, though not identified in the census record, was the Heinzeman Hotel.31
     Frank died on 23 Apr 1911, at his residence at 2309 Ocean View Ave., Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 41.14,15,16 He was buried on 25 Apr 1911 in Angelus Rosedale Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California.17,18
