Narrative:

     Mary Engel Niehaus was born about 1824 in Königreich Hannover.6,7
     Mary married Christian Heinrich Wiemann, son of Maximilian Friderich Wiemann and Anna Maria Margaretha Elisabeth Lüke, on 3 May 1845 in North German Lutheran Church, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.8,9,10
     Mary and Christian appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, enumerated 25 Jul 1850, Henry News, age 15, was listed as living with them. What relationship he had to them, if any, is unknown.12
     Mary was named executrix and an heir in the will of her husband, dated 30 Jan 1854 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, in which he left her all his property.13
     Mary and Christian appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, enumerated 12 Jun 1860, reporting real estate worth $1,000.14
     Mary and Christian were living at 112 Gest St. about 1861, when he was listed in the city directory at that address. No further record of either has been found except the probate of his will in 1872 and her burial in 1882. While his brothers appeared in nearly every city directory until their deaths, he never appeared after 1861. Neither of them have been found in the 1870 census, and she has not been found in 1880.15
     Her husband died in 1872.16
     Mary died on 10 May 1882.11 She was buried on 11 May 1882 in Vine Street Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.11
