Cornelia Mary Cobb was born on 18 Dec 1869 in Mississippi.8,9,10She moved to Paducah, Kentucky, about 1870 with her parents. She appeared with her parents on the 1870 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, in the household of Robert Livingston Cobb and Cornelia Barbour Mims, her father's parents.14 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents.6
She moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1884 with her parents.4
Cornelia married Albert Sidney Stinnett, son of William H. Stinnett and Mary Clay Corums, on 31 Jan 1893 in Wichita Co., Texas, with Rev. H. C. Shaw of the Church of the Good Shepherd officiating.11,12
Cornelia and Albert moved to Ft. Worth by 1900. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting the family was renting it's home. Their children Felice, Daphne and Walker were listed as living with them, as was her sister, Virginia.15
Cornelia and Albert moved their family from Ft. Worth to Amarillo in 1905. Her sister Virginia moved with them.16,17 Cornelia and Albert appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at 603 Pierce St., enumerated 20 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Felice, Daphne and Francis were listed as living with them, as was her sister, Ethel.18
Cornelia and Albert appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at 1701 Jackson, enumerated 15 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Felice and Francis were listed as living with them, as are two servants, 29-year old Addie Berry, and 57-year old Ernest Conrad.19
Cornelia and Albert appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $40,000, and did not own a radio. Their daughter Felice was listed as living with them.20
Her husband died on 5 Jan 1935 in 1701 Jackson, Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.21,22
Cornelia appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Kilgore, Gregg Co., Texas, in the household of her daughter Felice and her husband J. Rex Stegall, reporting that they had all lived in the same house in 1935.23
Cornelia died on 14 Dec 1953 in Los Angeles Co., California, at age 83.3 Her daughter Daphne was living in Los Angeles at the time, but whether Cornelia was living with her or just visiting at the time of her death is unknown.24 She was buried in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, next to her husband.13
