     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, in the household of her parents, Clemens Schauroth and Clara M. Watson.5 Her father was also listed in a home at 57 Park St., Grand Rapids, Kent Co., Michigan.18
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, in the household of her mother.8 Her father was listed in a rented home at 57 Park St., Grand Rapids, Kent Co., Michigan.19
     May married Ernst Hillebrandt Fenker, son of Albert August Fenker and Mary Grant Hillebrandt, on 14 Jun 1913 in Detroit, Michigan, with Rev. J. M. Barkey officating.12,13,14
     May and Ernst appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, at 73 Seebaldt Ave., enumerated 8 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. William Hoppe, a 27-year-old auditor was listed as a roomer in their household.20
