     He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan, in the household of his father and stepmother, Helen Hicker.14
     Edgar married Lucille Grace Boersma, daughter of Benjamin H. Boersma and Hazel E. Shaw, on 31 Dec 1934 in Elkhart Co., Indiana, with Joseph W. Nyikos, justice of the peace, officiating.10,11
