     August Frederick George Fenker was born on 25 Jun 1897 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Columbia Twp., Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, Fredrich Henrich Wilhelm Fenker and Louisa Wilhelmina Ruscher.4 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Oakley, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.5
     August registered for the draft for World War I on 24 Aug 1918, while living in 3316 Alamo, Cincinnati, Ohio, reporting he was employed as at Nitro Plant, in Broadwell, Ohio.2
     He was a truck driver for a lumber company by 1920, and for a trucking company in 1930.18,19
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.20
     August married Louise Tieman, daughter of Henry Tiemann and Anna Bradtmueller, on 10 Jun 1922 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. P. L. Damenfeldt offciating.12,13

     He was again driving for a lumber company by 1940, when he reported he had worked 40 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,400.23 He registered for the draft for World War II on 14 Feb 1942, while living at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed by Hyde Park Lumber Co., in Cincinnati.3 He later became a yard foreman for Hyde Park Lumber Co.24
     August died on 16 Apr 1962, at his home, 4860 Barg Salt Run Rd., Union Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio, at age 64.14,15 He was buried on 19 Apr 1962 in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Withamsville, Clermont Co., Ohio.16,17
