     Cora and John were apparently divorced about 1941 as she remarried in Aug 1949 and he did by 1954. But no record of the divorce has been found.^10,11,12
     Cora married second Thomas E. Brose, son of Frederick S. Brose and Clara E. Long, on 2 May 1942 in Clermont Co., OhioG, with Rev. Ben Hunt officiating. He was a half-brother to her brother Linas's wife, and the widower of Minnie E. Davidson.¹³
     Cora and Thomas were apparently divorced before 1949 as he remarried in Aug 1949 and she did in Feb 1954. But no record of the divorce has been found, and she reported she was separated in the 1950 census.¹⁴
     She was a seamstress at a hospital by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census she had worked 44 hours the prior week. She later became a practical nurse.^25,26,27
     Cora appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 5208 Rolston G, enumerated 13 Apr 1950, reporting she lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her daughter Shirley was listed as living with her.²⁸
