Narrative:

Minnie Lee Brose was born on 1 Oct 1883 in Brown Co., OhioG.4,5,6
     She was working as a domestic in 1900, at age 16.11
     Minnie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, G in the household of her sister Louise and her husband, Harvey A. Glaze.12
     Minnie married Linas Leander Newman, son of Albert August Newman and Martha Anna Harris, on 16 Jun 1904 in Hamilton Co., OhioG, with Rev. Joseph Hawkins officiating.7,8
     Minnie and Linas moved to Clermont Co.G about 1908, apparently with his parents, or to join them there. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Ohio Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, living with his parents and his three younger siblings. Their children Fredie, Violet, and Hazel were listed as living with them.13
     Minnie and Linas appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Fredie, Violet, and Hazel were listed as living with them, They were apparently living near his parents, as they were listed as the fourth preceding household.14
     Minnie and Linas appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Monroe Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio, at A. and P. Highway G, enumerated 22 Apr 1930, reporting they owned their farm, and owned a radio. Their children Hazel and Anne were listed as living with them, as was Grover C. Willis, brother of her sister Anna's husband.15
     Minnie and Linas appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $5,000, and that they had lived in the same city in 1935. Their daughter Anne was listed as living with them.16
     Minnie and Linas were operators of a gas station by 1940, reporting in 1940 each had worked 60 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, and they earned $900.17
     Minnie and Linas appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Batavia, Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 8 May 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.18
     Her husband died on 1 Oct 1973 in Clark, Darke Co., OhioG.19
     Minnie died on 19 Oct 1973 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OhioG, at age 90.9 She was buried in New Harmony Cemetery, New Harmony, Brown Co., OhioG.10

Linas Leander Newman was born on 21 Apr 1883 in Clermont Co., OhioG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Lewis Twp., Brown Co., Ohio, G in the household of his parents, Albert August Newman and Martha Anna Harris.11
     Linas married Minnie Lee Brose, daughter of Frederick S. Brose and Debra Jane Gardner, on 16 Jun 1904 in Hamilton Co., OhioG, with Rev. Joseph Hawkins officiating.7,8
     Linas and Minnie moved to Clermont Co.G about 1908, apparently with his parents, or to join them there.
     He was a farmer in 1910, working on his father's farm.12
     Linas and Minnie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Ohio Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, living with his parents and his three younger siblings. Their children Fredie, Violet, and Hazel were listed as living with them.13
     He became a farmer on his own by 1918.14,15 He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Moscow, Clermont Co., OhioG, reporting he was employed as a farmer.3
     Linas and Minnie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Fredie, Violet, and Hazel were listed as living with them. They were apparently living near his parents, as they were listed as the fourth preceding household.16

Harvey A. Glaze was born on 13 Jul 1877 in OhioG.4,5,6
     His father died on 1 Jan 1878, when Harvey was 6 months old.12,13
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Linwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, G in the household of his mother, Sarah Williams.14
     Harvey married Louise Brose, daughter of Frederick S. Brose and Debra Jane Gardner, on 5 Apr 1897 in Hamilton Co., OhioG, with Rev. W. E. Stevens officiating, with the consent of his mother as he was under age.3,7,8
     He was a freight handler on a railroad in 1900.15
     Harvey and Louise appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2848 Eastern Ave. G, enumerated 4 Jun 1900, reporting they rented their home. Her sister Minnie was listed as living with them. Her sister Effie and her husband and three children were living in the same building.16
     He was a street car conductor by 1910.17,18
     Harvey and Louise appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Union Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio G, enumerated 20 Apr 1910, reporting they rented their farm. Their children Helen and Hilda were listed as living with them, as were the children of her late sister Effie, ages 13 to 5, Edith, Clara, Lillian, Albert, and Rose Master.2
