7,8 LucyNeither James nor Lucy, nor any of their children, have been found in the 1900 census. They had separated, or perhaps divorced by 1910, when she and three of their children appeared in the census on the farm in Lafayette Co., Arkansas

G, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, reporting she owned her farm, free of mortgage. Her children William, Annie, and Park were listed as living with her, as was her mother. Lucy and William were listed as farmers, and the other two children were listed as working on the farm.
