Daisy M. Askew was born on 9 Dec 1892 in TexasG.4,5,6
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, G in the household of her mother, Mary Caroline Hendrex. Her future husband, Frederick Michael Kuhlman, was listed as one of three boarders in the household.12 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, G in the household of her mother.13
     She was a stenographer for a telephone company before her marriage.14
     Daisy married Frederick Michael Kuhlman, son of Friedrich Heinrich Geltmayer and Varena Long, on 31 Mar 1914 in Ft. Worth, TexasG, with Rev. William Caldwell, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, at the parsonage. Only immediate relatives of hers were present.7,8,9
     Daisy and Frederick appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, at 1800 Washington G, enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Frederick and William were listed as living with them, as was her mother, and a Robert Kuhlman, age 26, who was listed as a brother, but no such brother has been identified.15
     Daisy and Frederick appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, at 1800 Washington Ave. G, enumerated 17 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $6,000, and owned a radio. Their children Frederick and William were listed as living with them, as was her mother.16
     Daisy and Frederick appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas, at 1800 Washington Ave. G, enumerated 12 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $3,000, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935. Their son William was listed as living with them, as was her mother.17
     Her husband died on 24 Feb 1947 in 1800 Washington Ave., Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TexasG.18,19,20
     Daisy died on 12 Feb 1976 in Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TexasG, at age 83.10 She was buried on 14 Feb 1976 in Oakwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TexasG.11
