13 Her father died on 3 Aug 1909, when Myrtle was 17 years old.

17 Myrtle has not been found in the 1920 census. She was not with her step-mother, who had remarried and was living in Arizona. Myrtle said when she married she was a resident of Los Angeles, but when she moved to California is unknown.
