Mathias J. Tyson was born in Mar 1841 in PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6
     Mathias married Sabina Barnhart, daughter of Benjamin Barnhart, about 1863.7,8,9
     Mathias and Sabina appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Delaware Twp., Northumberland Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of Benjamin Barnhart, her father. Their children, William, Benjamin, Abbie, Oliver, George, Mary, and Bessie, were also listed is the household.10
     Mathias and Sabina appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Watsontown, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at East 8th St. G, enumerated 9 Jun 1900, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Oliver, Percilla, Charles, Anna, and Nellie were listed as living with them.11
     Mathias and Sabina appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Watsontown, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at East 8th St. G, enumerated 18 Apr 1910, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Oliver and Charles were listed as living with them.2
     He was a laborer in a tannery until after 1900. By 1910 he was a watchman at a table factory.12,13,14,15
     His wife died on 25 Nov 1913 in Watsontown, Northumberland Co., PennsylvaniaG.16
     Mathias died on 20 Dec 1915 in State Hospital for the Insane, Danville, Montour Co., PennsylvaniaG, at age 74, of complications of dementia.3

Charles Edward Bucher was born on 15 Jan 1912 in Milton, PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, G in the household of his parents, Norman Orlando Bucher and Mary Idella Bressler.13 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania G, in the household of his parents.14
     Charles married Lera Eileen Tyson, daughter of Charles Henry Tyson and Sarah E. Simons, about 1937.7,8,9
     Charles and Lera appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at 206 Mahoning St. G, enumerated 25 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $15 per month, and that he had lived in the same town in 1935 while she lived in a rural part of the county. Their two children were listed as living with them.15
     Charles registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 206 Mahoning, Milton, Northumberland Co., PennsylvaniaG, reporting he was employed by E. H. Spotts in Milton.3
