Opal Helen Jennings was born on 25 Nov 1920 in St Joseph, MissouriG.4,5,6
     Her parents divorced, apparently before 1926, as her mother re-married in Jul 1926.14,15,16
     Opal appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Hayes, Franklin Co., Kansas G, enumerated 11 Apr 1930, in the household of Ralph Edwards, a farmer, his wife Edith, and their 12-year-old son. She was listed as an orphan.17
     Opal married Fred Henry Grishow, son of John H. Grishow and Ameilia C. Templin, on 14 Feb 1934 in Troy, KansasG.7,8,9
     Opal and Fred appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Andrew Co., Missouri G, enumerated 2 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $5 per month, and that they had lived in rural Holt Co., Missouri in 1935. Their son John was listed as living with them.18
     Opal and Fred appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Clay, Andrew Co., Missouri, at Pixler Rd. G, enumerated 10 Apr 1950, reporting they lived on a farm. Their children John, Leona, and Juanita were listed as living with them.19
     Her husband died on 14 Sep 1975.20,21,22
     Opal moved to SavannahG in 1976.23
     She was a cook at the Dr. Nichols Sanitarium in SavannahG for several years before she retired.23
     Opal died on 15 Oct 1994 in St. Joseph, MissouriG, at age 73.10,5,11 She was buried on 17 Oct 1994 in Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Andrew Co., MissouriG.12,13
