Philip Schmidt was born Circa 1868 in MissouriG.3,4
     Philip married Louisa Circa 1892.5,6
     Philip and Louisa appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, on Keeler Rd. G, enumerated 23 Apr 1910, reporting that the family owned its farm, free of mortgage. Their children Lena, John, Charles, Lousie, Katie, Philip, Clara, and Hilda were listed as living with them.1
     Philip and Louisa appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, on Keeler Rd. G, enumerated 3 Jan 1920, reporting that the family owned its farm, free of mortgage. Their children John, Charles, Philip, Clara, and Hilda were listed as living with them.2
     He was a farmer.7,8
