Narrative:

Charlotte Anne Bright was born in Aug 1873 in Waukegan, IllinoisG.4,5,6 She was known to family as Lottie.2,15,16
Charlotte apparently had a child in Canada by, and may well have married, around 1891, an unknown man of German birth.7
Charlotte married, apparently second, Frank Marion Lambert, son of Peter Lambert and Elizabeth Allen, on 8 Feb 1897 in Lacrosse, WisconsinG.8,9
Charlotte and Frank settled Minnesota after their marriage. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dresback Twp., Winona Co., Minnesota G, enumerated 3 Jun 1900. Their daughter Verna was listed as living with them, as was her daughter, Mina, by an unknown father.17
Charlotte and Frank moved to WisconsinG about 1904. They appeared on the 1905 State Census of Onalaska, La Crosse Co., WisconsinG. Their children Verna and Leslie were listed as living with them, as was her daughter Mina.18
Charlotte and Frank moved to WashingtonG before 1909. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at 412 East 2nd G, enumerated 23 Apr 1910, reporting that the family rented its home. Their children Verna, Leslie, and Bessie were listed as living with them, as was her daughter by another father, Mina.19
Charlotte and Frank appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, at East 11th St. G, enumerated 2 Jan 1920. Their son Leslie was listed as living with them.20
Her husband died on 15 Nov 1920 in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WashingtonG.21
Charlotte married third Lee C. Moore on 16 Dec 1926 in Vancouver, Clark Co., WashingtonG, with Rev. Francis A. LaViolette officiating.10 Charlotte and Lee presumably divorced before long because she remarried by 1930, but we cannot be sure since no further record of him as been located. He is shown as living in Vancouver in the marriage license application, but no other record of him in that area, nor any record of his death, has been found.
Charlotte married fourth Robert Edward Gapsch, son of Edward W. Gapsch and Sophie Herfurt, between 1926 and 1930.3,11,12
Charlotte and Robert appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington, at 508 E. 16th St. G, enumerated 5 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $3000, and did not own a radio.22
Charlotte and Robert appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington, at 508 E. 16th G, enumerated 11 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $2,500, and had lived in the same house in 1935.23
Robert died on 25 Jun 1946 in 508 E. 16th St., Vancouver, Clark Co., WashingtonG.24,25
Charlotte married fifth Albert F. Stilson on 15 May 1947 in Pierce Co., WashingtonG.13
Charlotte died on 16 Jun 1958 in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WashingtonG, at age 84.14
Research Note, 2 Jun 2008:
Mina appears on the 1900 census with Frank and Lottie Lambert, shown as age 8. Frank and Lottie had been married only 3 years, so Mina would appear to be the daughter of one of them by another marriage. Mina is shown as Frank's daughter and with his surname, but her father is shown as born in Germany, while Frank was born in Minnesota. Her mother is shown as born in Illinois, which Lottie was. Lottie is shown as the mother of two children, both living, and Mina and Vernie are shown in the family, apparently Lottie's two children. I conclude that Mina was actually Lottie's daughter by another father.
In the 1905 Wisconsin census there is a single space for birth place of parents, and for Mina it shows Canada, but neither Frank nor Lottie are shown as born there.
In the 1910 census Mina's father's birthplace is shown as Minnesota, and Lottie and Frank are shown as having been married 18 years, while Mina is age 17. Whether there was a conscious effort to make Mina appear to be Frank's daughter or error by the enumerator is not clear. No further record of Mina has been found.17,18,19

Dollie Rena Kingery was born on 20 Jul 1906 in IowaG.5,6,7 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Union Twp., Union Co., Iowa, G in the household of her parents, Fredrick McClellan Kingery and Cora Cordelia Miller.16 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Dodge Twp., Iowa in the household of her parents.17

Dollie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri G, at 1021 Linwood Blvd, enumerated 1 May 1940, reporting that she was renting her room for $40 per month, in what appears to have been a residential hotel, with nearly 200 residents. She was listed as living with Madaline Gore, a 25-year-old stenographer. Dollie reported that she had been living in the same city in 1935.19
Dollie was a stenographer for a manufacturing company in 1930, and a clerk for a cosmetic manufacturing company in 1940.20,21

Dollie and Henry were divorced on 27 Apr 1954 in Lewiston, Nez Perce Co., IdahoG.13,12
After their brief marriage, Dollie and Henry's divorce seems to have been very acrimonious. She filed for divorce 6 Aug 1953, less than two years after their marriage, charging extreme cruelty. He filed a cross-complaint on the same grounds. The court granted her motion and made a property settlement, which he appealed. The Idaho Supreme Court decided his appeal 24 Nov 1954, upholding the divorce granted by the lower court, but in a long and detailed decision overturned many of the aspects of the property settlement. The appellate decision was evidently precedent-setting, as it has been cited by the Court some 50 times in of other cases over the years.22,23 She died on 22 May 1991, probably in Des Moines, Polk Co., IowaG, at age 84.14,15
