Horace Cobb was born on 13 Mar 1797 in Pawlet, Vermont.^4,5,6
Horace died on 16 May 1848 in Brighton, New York, at age 51.^7,8,9
He was buried on 18 May 1848 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, New York, apparently initially in his brother Gideon's lot, then moved to the adjacent lot when his heirs purchased it 26 Feb 1850, where he is next to his second wife.^10,11
