     Virginia D. Cobb was born in Jun 1847 in Tennessee.7,8,9 She married Robert Henry Williams on 3 Mar 1868 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee.10,11 She died in 1921.12 She was buried in Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, next to her husband.13

     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Stewart Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents, Dr. Joshua Cobb and Marina Turner Bryan.14,15 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents, Dr. Joshua Cobb and Marina Turner Bryan.16,17
     Virginia and Robert Henry Williams lived in Dickson Co. for a time after their marriage before moving back to Clarksville. They appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of White Bluff, Dickson Co., Tennessee, enumerated 18 Aug 1870, reporting real estate valued at $20,000 and personal estate of $8,000. Their children Starkey, Eva, Thomas, Robert, Edwin and Lillian were listed as living with them, and T. A. Turner, age 30, a farm worker.18
     Virginia and Robert appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Montgomery Co., Tennessee, enumerated 14 Jun 1880. Their children Edwin and Lillian were listed as living with them, as was Buter T. Peagram, a 39-year-old female boarder.19
     Virginia and Robert and their two daughters moved to Montrose, Pennsylvania, between 1895 and 1900, about the same time her sister Sallie and her husband did. Their sister Marina and her husband had been living there since their marriage.20 Virginia and Robert appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Montrose, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, at Maple St., enumerated 16 Jun 1900. Their children Anna were listed as living with them. Her sister, Lillian B. Williams and Sallie West Cobb, was also listed as living in the same building.21
     Virginia appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Montrose, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, at 58 Church St., enumerated 2 May 1910, reporting that she rented her home. Her children Lillian and Anna were listed as living with her.22
     Virginia appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Montrose, Susquehanna Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of Charles Saxon Sprout and Lillian B. Williams, her daughter and her husband.23

The family clearly lived in Stewart Co. from the time Joshua moved there in 1835 until 1851. They are recorded there in the 1840 and 1850 census, and Picturesque Clarksville says he moved to Clarksville in 1851. Though it may be possible that Marina returned to Clarksville each time to give birth, I've found no source that supports that theory, so I am leaving the place simply as Tennessee.
