Narrative:

Georgia Ann Brady was born on 12 May 1853 in Platte Co., Missouri.9,10,11 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Green Twp., Platte Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents, Walter R. Brady and Elizabeth C. Lamar.16
After the death of her father, and remarriage of her mother, her mother's brother Charles H. Lamar was appointed as guardian of her and her sisters' estate by the court 10 Oct 1865.17 The same day he filed an inventory of the girls' estate. It included $431 in cash received from their mother, the prior administrator of their father's estate, a note dated 6 Jun 1864 for $250, and a second dated 6 Nov 1862 for $38. Both notes bore interest at 10%. There was also the 160-acre parcel in Green Twp. that had been inventoried in their father's estate.17
Georgia was named an heir in the will of William Lamar, her mother's father, dated 18 Sep 1866 in Platte Co., Missouri. She was to receive $500, to be held by her uncle Charles Lamar until she became of age or married. He was directed to loan the money "on good security" and include the interest earned when the money was paid to her.18 Her grandfather left a codicil to his will, dated 29 May 1869, in which he left some newly purchased property to his four youngest children. In exchange, they were to pay $2,000 to the estate, to be distributed at his death to five of his children, and a sixth share to be divided by Georgia and her two sisters.19
She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Weston, Platte Co., Missouri, in the household of her mother and step-father, John Whisman.20
On 24 Jan 1878 the court ordered the administrator of the estate of her grandfather, Benjamin Brady, to pay Georgia $50, her one third of her late father's share of the estate.21 On 25 Jul 1878 the court ordered him to pay her her remaining share, $10.74.22
Georgia married Henry C. Magers, son of John Frederick Magers and Louisa S. [surname unknown], on 26 Nov 1879 in Winchester, Platte Co., Missouri, at her parent's home, with Rev. P. J. Berness officiating.12,13,14
Georgia and Henry C. Magers moved to Kansas after their marriage.23 They appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Jefferson Twp., Jefferson Co., Kansas, enumerated 10 Jun 1880.24
Georgia was named an heir in the will of her mother dated 5 Sep 1890, in which she and her two full sisters were each left $5 and their step-siblings were to share the balance of the estate.25
She and Henry appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Jefferson Twp., Jefferson Co., Kansas, enumerated 1 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their son Brady was listed as living with them.26
Georgia and Henry appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Jefferson Twp., Jefferson Co., Kansas, on Forth St., enumerated 19 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their son Brady was listed as living with them.27
