     Lewis Henry Decker was born on 22 Oct 1857 in West Chester, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio.3,6,7
     He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Guernsey Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, Lewis Decker and Sarah B. Moore.11 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Guernsey Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.12
     Lewis married Deloria T. Furnace, daughter of Thomas Furnace and Rachel Parkins, on 23 May 1878 in Smyrna, Harrison Co., Ohio.8,9,10
     Lewis and Deloria appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Guernsey Co., Ohio, enumerated 15 Jun 1880. Their daughter Florence was listed as living with them. They apparently were living with or very near his parents, as they are listed as the preceding household.13
     He was a laborer.13
     Lewis died on 13 Jan 1895 in Vermont, Fulton Co., Illinois, at age 37.3 He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Astoria, Fulton Co., Illinois.3
