Narrative:

     Fredericka Schelling was born on 9 Oct 1835 in Neckarbischofsheim, Baden.4,5,6 Fredericka and Heinrich were twins.15 She and her twin brother Heinrich were christened on 16 Oct 1835 at Evangelische, Neckarbischofsheim, Baden.15
     Fredericka immigrated from Baden about 1854.16,17,18
     Fredericka married Friedrich Goller, son of Johann Georg Goller and Barbara Grether, in 1856 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.7,8,9
     Fredericka and Friedrich moved with their baby daughter Caroline to Illinois about 1859.19 They appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, enumerated 25 Jul 1860, reporting real estate valued at $650 and personal estate valued at $250. Their children Caroline and Emma were listed as living with them.20
     By 1861 Fredericka and Friedrich were living in 337 North Monroe.21 They moved to Douglas and Main Sts. about 1865 then to Douglas and Farmington Rd., a location that cannot now be identified, about 1867.22
     Fredericka and Friedrich appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, enumerated 6 Jul 1870, reporting real estate valued at $600 and personal estate valued at $400. Their children Caroline, Emma, Johanna, Elizabeth, Henry and Charles were listed as living with them.23 By 1871 they were living in Antoinette and Louisa Sts.24
     Fredericka and Friedrich moved about 1872 to 208 North St. and continued to live there until about 1880.25 They appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 208 North St., enumerated 5 Jun 1880. Their children Caroline, Johanna, Elizabeth, Henry, Charles, Mary, Flora, Minnie and Edna were listed as living with them.26
     Fredericka and Friedrich moved to 920 Knoxville Rd. about 1881.27 They moved to 414 South Bourland St. by 1885.28 They moved to 313 South Orange St. by 1889, where they lived for about ten years.29
     Fredericka and Friedrich's daughter Flora died in childbirth in 1897 and they took in the child, Florence Welty. After his death Fredericka continued to raise the child, who lived with her until her death, with her husband after she married in 1916.30,31
     Fredericka and Friedrich moved to 414 Kellogg Ave. on the outskirts of the city, about 1900.32 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Peoria Twp., Peoria Co., Illinois, on Kellogg St., enumerated 20 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Johanna and Minnie were listed as living with them, as was granddaughter Florence Welty.33
     Her husband died on 5 Feb 1902 in Peoria, Illinois.34,35
     Fredericka appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Peoria Twp., Peoria Co., Illinois, at Bester Ave., enumerated 16 Apr 1910, reporting that she owned her home, which was mortgaged. Her children Johanna and Minnie were listed as living with her, as was her granddaughter Florence Welty. Why they are shown on Bester Ave. when they were apparently living one block north on Kellogg Ave. is unknown. Perhaps the enumerator was confused about which street he or she was on in the rural area.36,37
     Fredericka moved to 222 Kellogg Ave. with her two spinster daughters and her granddaughter about 1916.38 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Peoria Twp., Peoria Co., Illinois, at 222 Kellog Ave., enumerated 8 Jan 1920, reporting that she owned her home, free of mortgage. Her children Johanna and Minnie were listed as living with her, as was her granddaughter Florence Welty and her husband, John.39
     Fredericka died on 5 Dec 1924 in 222 Kellogg, Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at age 89.10,11,12 She was buried on 7 Dec 1924 in Springdale Cemetery, Peoria, Illinois.13,14
