     He was probably the male under age 5 listed in the household of his father, Dr. Davis Green Tuck, in the 1830 Federal Census of Halifax Co., Virginia.15
     He moved to Christian Co., Kentucky, with his parents in 1832 or early 1833.16,17 He was probably the male age 5 to 10 listed in the household of his father in the 1840 Federal Census of Christian Co., Kentucky.18 He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Christian Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents.19,20
     Walter died on 7 Jul 1854 in Christian Co., Kentucky, at age 24, while a medical student.11,12,13 He was buried in the Tuck-Elliott Family Cemetery, Lafayette, Christian Co., Kentucky.14
