     Paul Sebastian Glabe was born on 22 Dec 1908 in Chatsworth, Illinois.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, Sebastian Glabe and Anna Katherine Ruppel.18 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.5
     Paul moved to the suburbs of Chicago, where is sister Alice was living, before 1930. He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Maywood, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of Alice and her husband, William Theodore Shols.19
     He moved back to Chatsworth before he enlisted in the Navy.20 Paul enlisted in the U.S. Navy, 15 Sep 1933. He was honorably discharged 20 Dec 1937.2,21
     Paul married Julia Janet Arnold, daughter of Asher Arnold and Emma Aust, on 16 Apr 1938 in Kentland, Indiana, with Rev. Edward Edwards, pastor of the Christian Church, officiating, at his residence.12,13,14
     Paul and Julia appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of his father, Sebastian Glabe, reporting he had been living in the same house in 1935.22
     He was a meter tester for an electric company in 1930. By 1940 he was a checker in a factory. That year he reported he had worked 45 hours the last week of March, and had worked 36 weeks earning $750 the previous year.23,24
     Paul registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, reporting he was self employed.3
     He was a compressor operator at an oil refinery by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census he had not worked the prior week but was looking for work.25
     Paul and Julia moved to Lockport, Illinois, a far southwestern suburb of Chicago, before 1950. They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Lockport, Will Co., Illinois, at 1610 S Jefferson St., enumerated 19 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Their sonwas listed as living with them.26
     Paul died on 5 Nov 1983 in Lockport, Illinois, at age 74.15,16 He was buried on 8 Nov 1983 in Lockport, Illinois.17
