     Seberta Leona Glabe was born on 30 Nov 1904 in Chatsworth, Illinois.8,9,10
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Sebastian Glabe and Anna Katherine Ruppel.15 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.4
     Seberta married Erasmus Franklin Shols, son of Erasmus Ross Shols and Louise Marie Wienand, on 28 Nov 1926 in Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, with Rev. C. J Krell, minister of the Evangelical Church, officiating. He was a younger brother of the man her sister Alice had married three years before, and first cousin of the man her sister Eva had married six years prior.11,12
     Seberta and Erasmus moved to the suburbs of Chicago after their marriage. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Oak Park, Cook Co., Illinois, at 307 North Oak Park Ave., enumerated 24 Apr 1930, reporting they were renting their apartment, for $55 per month, and owned a radio.16
     Seberta and Erasmus moved north about ten miles, to Niles, between 1930 and 1935. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Niles, Cook Co., Illinois, at 8021 Keating Ave., enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their apartment, for $48 per month, and had lived in the same house in 1935.17
     She was a secretary, working in real estate in 1930. She was later an office manager for Waldof Paper Company. In 1940 she reported having worked 41 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,300. She reported in the 1950 census she had worked 40 hours the prior week and worked 52 weeks in 1949, earning $2,800 in wages or salary.18,19,20,21
     Seberta and Erasmus moved to Skokie, a few miles east, before 1950. They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Skokie, Cook Co., Illinois, at 8021 Keating, enumerated 16 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.22
     Her husband died on 12 Jan 1963 in Skokie, Illinois.23,24
     Seberta retired and moved back to Chatsworth in 1968.5 She moved to Fairbury in her later years, where she lived at the Helen Lewis Smith Pavilion.25
     Seberta died on 13 Dec 1997 in Fairbury, Illinois, at age 93.13,14 She was buried on 18 Dec 1997 in Chatsworth Cemetery, Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois.5
