     James and Anna, and their son Albert and his family, all moved to Springdale, California about 1913. James and Anna appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Compton, Los Angeles Co., California, on Springdale Ave., enumerated 15 Jan 1920. Their son Albert and his family are listed immediately following, indicating they were living in the same house or close by. But they are also enumerated at a different address two weeks later, suggesting they had been living with his parents and were moving away.3
     James and Anna appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Compton Twp., Los Angeles Co., California, at 2224 Springdale Ave., enumerated 11 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $5,000, and owned a radio.10
