     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, Jacob Marqua and Mary Schwab.16 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.5
     He was working as a laborer in 1880, at age 15.17
     William married Mary C. Von Seggern, daughter of John R. Von Seggern and Louisa S. Wieman, on 21 May 1890 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. Hugo G. Eisenlohr officiating.11,12
     William and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 249 Prospect Ave., enumerated 13 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home. Their son John was listed as living with them, as was Katherine Anna Kipp, a servant age 36, whose occupation was listed as cook.18
