     Lydia S. Tieman was born on 14 Jul 1868 in Cincinnati, Ohio.8,9,10
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents, Charles Tieman and Sophia Schroeder.16 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of College Hill, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents.5
     Lydia married Harry H. Von Seggern, son of John R. Von Seggern and Louisa S. Wieman, on 10 Dec 1890 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. Hugo G. Eisenlohr officiating.11,12,13
     Lydia and Harry lived for several years after they married at 97 Gest St., Cincinnati, where he had lived with his parents as a child, and where other members of his mother's family lived at various times.17 They moved to 3148 Jefferson Ave. about 1896.18
     Lydia and Harry moved to Clermont Co., the county to the east of Cincinnati, where Harry took up farming, before 1900.19 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Union Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio, enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting they rented their farm. Their daughter Louise was listed as living with them.20
     Lydia and Harry returned to the city about 1904, when they were living at 3163 Vine St.21 They moved to 2635 Jefferson Ave. about a year later.22
     Lydia and Harry appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2809 Alice St., enumerated 15 Apr 1910, reporting they rented their home. Their daughter Louise was listed as living with them.23
     Lydia and Harry appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1965 Fairfax Ave., enumerated 17 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their daughter Louise was listed as living with them.24
     Lydia and Harry appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her daughter Louise and her husband, Joseph Edward Foley.25
     Lydia died on 15 Nov 1935, at home, 3208 Observatory Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio, at age 67.14 She was buried on 18 Nov 1935 in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.15
