Hellen Kuhlman was born about 1844 in Pennsylvania.5Her mother died in 1844 or 1845, when Hellen was an infant.9,10
She moved about 1844 to Wooster, Ohio, with her father, and perhaps with her mother, though it seems more likely she had died in Pennsylvania.11
She moved to Warren Twp., Huntington Co., Indiana, with her father in 1845.12,13,14,15 She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of her father, Ernst Heinrich Kuhlman.3
Hellen married Charles Friedrich Reifert, son of Johann Gottfried Reifert and Johanne Christiane Hüttner, on 28 Mar 1861 in Huntington Co., Indiana.2
Hellen apparently died before 1866, as her husband married again then, but no record of her death has been found.6,7,8
