Sarah M. Fielder was born about 1857 in Alabama.6,7She moved to Mississippi with her parents about 1859. She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Scott Co., Mississippi, in the household of her parents, George L. Fielder and Sarah E. Britton.8
She moved to Louisiana with her parents before 1870. She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, in the household of her parents.9
She moved to Texas with her parents about 1875.
Sarah married J. D. Simpson on 9 Dec 1876 in Cooke Co., Texas, with James Reed officiating.3
No further record of Sarah has been found. Neither she nor her husband can be found in the 1880 census. A number of J. D. Simpsons have been located but none can be identified as her husband.
