     Mary Treadway Price was born about 1833 in Prince Edward Co., Virginia.4,5
     She was probably the female age 5 to 10 listed in the household of her father, Nathaniel D. Price, in the 1840 Federal Census of Eastern District, Prince Edward Co., Virginia.8
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Prince Edward Co., Virginia, in the household of her parents, Nathaniel D. Price and Mary T. Compton.9
     Mary married Dr. John Bacon Britton, son of Isham H. Britton and Mary W. Toot, on 27 Sep 1854 in Prince Edward Co., Virginia.6
     Mary and John settled in North Carolina after their marriage.10
     They returned to Virginia in the spring of 1858.7
     Mary died in 1858 in Virginia.7
