Sarah Cobb was born on 16 Jul 1778 in Canterbury, Connecticut.7,8She moved to Pawlet, Vermont, with her parents, Elkanah Cobb and Mary Willard, by 1780.13,14,15
She was probably one of the four females listed in the household of her father, Elkanah Cobb, in the 1790 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., Vermont.16
She moved with her parents to Wells, the next town north of Pawlet, by 1792.17,18
Sarah died on 15 Mar 1795 in Wells, Rutland Co., Vermont, at age 16.9,10 She was buried in Mettowee Valley Cemetery, now known as the Old Pawlet Cemetery, Pawlet, Vermont.11,12
