Narrative:
William Tuck was born about 1770.4William was named an heir in the will of Thomas Tuck, his father, dated 25 Apr 1786, to received an equal share with his siblings other than his eldest brother Thomas, of their father's cattle, horses, hogs, and household goods.6
William married Hannah Irby, daughter of Joshua Irby, on 22 Aug 1797.5
On 29 Nov 1832 William submitted an affidavit in support of his brother Thomas's application for a pension based on his Revolutionary War service.7 On 28 Apr 1845, while living in Halifax Co., he submitted an affidavit in support the application of the widow of his brother John for a pension based on his Revolutionary War service.8
