     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Lafayette, Christian Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents, Dr. Henry Davis Tuck and Elizabeth John A. Smith.17 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lafayette, Kentucky in the household of his parents.6
     Davis married Alice Steger, daughter of Dr. Francis Epps Harris Steger and Mary Elizabeth Madden, on 21 Feb 1888 in Davidson Co., Tennessee.12,13
     Davis died on 7 Sep 1889 in Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at age 26, of typhoid fever.14,9 He was buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee.15,16
