Narrative:

     Flora Ella D. Chesnut was born on 4 Mar 1869 in Pennsylvania.7,8,9
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ft. Littleton, Fulton Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, John Chesnut and Elizabeth Jane Flora.14
     She moved to West Virginia with her parents before 1880. She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Hampshire Co., West Virginia, in the household of her parents.5
     Records from her childhood show her given name as Flora E. D., but by the time of her marriage she was using her middle name, Ella. All later records, including her tombstone, use that name.3,15,16
     Flora married Daniel G. Moler, son of Robert W. Moler and Thursday M. Strider, on 14 Mar 1888 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, with John Edwards officiating.10,11
     Flora and Daniel moved to Maryland about 1893 with their two young sons.17 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Brunswick, Frederick Co., Maryland, enumerated 24 Jun 1900, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Archibald, Leslie, Bessie and Harry were listed as living with them, as was her brother George.18
     Flora and Daniel appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Brunswick, Frederick Co., Maryland, on B St., enumerated 26 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Archibald, Bessie, Harry, Vernon, Albert and Ronald were listed as living with them, as was her brother George.19
     Her husband died on 5 Jun 1917 in Frederick Co., Maryland.20
     Flora appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Brunswick, Frederick Co., Maryland, apparently in the home she and her late husband had owned. Her son Leslie is listed as head of household, and her other children Bessie, Harry, Vernon, Albert, Ronald and Madeline were also listed as living there.21
     Flora died on 25 Aug 1920 in Frederick Co., Maryland, at age 51.12 She was buried in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick, Frederick Co., Maryland.13
