     Lewis and Margaret appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Middle Paxton Twp., Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Flora, Jennie, John and George were listed as living with them.1
     Lewis and Margaret appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Middle Paxton Twp., Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children John, George and Walter were listed as living with them, as were Mary and Flora McCarty, ages 5 and 2, daughters of their late daughter Flora.2

     His wife died on 8 Mar 1921 in Middle Paxton Twp., Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania.11

     Lewis died on 12 Oct 1931 in Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, at age 72.3 He was buried on 15 Oct 1931 in Red Hill Cemetery.3
