Abraham Redcay was born on 23 Jan 1847 in Pennsylvania.6,7,8He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Delaware Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, Daniel Redcay and Abbigale Kint.1 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of McEwensville, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents. His future wife was apparently living nearby, as her family is listed next after his.2 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of McEwensville, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents.12
Abraham married Susanna Gold, daughter of David Gold and Maria Reitsmiller, about 1872.9,10,11
