     1516 Susie Davis was born in Jan 1882 in Wayne Co., West Virginia.6,7,8 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Wayne Co., West Virginia, in the household of her parents, Joseph R. Davis and Margaret [surname unknown].4
     Susie married first Sidney Kitts on 5 Apr 1903 in Wayne Co., West Virginia, at her parents' home, with Rev. Leander Osburn officating.9,10,11
     She appeared with her children, Raymond, Harvey, Frank and Prince, on the 1910 Federal Census of Wayne Co., West Virginia, in the household of her parents.17
     Her husband died before 1915, apparently several years before.18
     Susie married second McKinley Osburn, son of Yates Osburn and Tabitha [surname unknown], about 1912.12,13,14
     On 5 Jan 1916 Susie's mother was appointed a guardian of her four older childen, Raymond, Harvey, Frank and Prince.18
     Susie and McKinley appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Wayne Co., West Virginia, enumerated 28 Jan 1920, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Yates and Martha were listed as living with them.19 Her five children by her previous marriage, Raymond, Harvey, Frank, Prince and Margaret, were listed as living with her mother, apparently living close by as they were listed as the second household following.20
     Susie and McKinley moved to Ohio before 1930. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Ashland Co., Ohio, enumerated 11 Apr 1930, reporting they were living in a home provided rent-free.21 Susie also appeared on the 1930 Federal Census some 25 miles east in Rittman, Wayne Co., Ohio, at 56 Salt St., enumerated 24 Apr 1930, reporting she was renting her home, for $18 per month. Her children Harvey, Frank, Prince and Yates were listed as living with her.19
     Susie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Rittman, Wayne Co., Ohio, in the household of her eldest son, Raymond, and his wife Rosa. Her son Frank and daughter Martha were also listed in the householld. They all reported that they had lived in the same house in 1935.22
     Her husband was listed as a hired hand in the household of Anna Snodgrass, in Wayne Co., West Virginia, shown as single. He reported he had been living in Huntington, West Virginia, in 1935.23
