     Harry Maurice Olson was born on 1 Jul 1894 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of St Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents, Edgar P. Olson and Hilma C. Erickson.4 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of St Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents.5
     He was a laborer, apparently as his father's grading business, by 1910.20
     Harry married Irene Belle Imel, daughter of Elmer Lawrence Imel and Catharine Parsels, in Jan 1917 in Andrew Co., Missouri.12,13,14
     Harry registered for the draft for World War I on 1 Jun 1917, while living at 2104 N 2nd St., St Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, reporting he was employed as a teamster by his father.21 He was a grader at a grading company by 1920.22
     Harry and Irene appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of St Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at 3204 Olive St., enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their son Allan was listed as living with them.23

     Harry was a highway grading contractor, with Olson Brothers Construction Company, by 1930. He reported in 1940 he had worked 5 hours the last week of March, and 40 weeks the prior year, earning $1,025.26,27,28
     Harry registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at Belton, Cass Co., Missouri, reporting he was self employed.3 He reported in the 1950 census he had worked 40 hours the prior week.29,30
     Harry and Irene appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Mount Pleasant, Cass Co., Missouri, on South Belton Rd., enumerated 10 Apr 1950, reporting they lived on a farm.31
     After retiring from the contracting business he owned and operated the Oasis tavern near Belton, from about 1955.32
     Harry died on 25 Oct 1963 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri, at age 69, of his injuries after his car was struck by a train.15,16 He was buried on 28 Oct 1963 in Belton Cemetery, Belton, Cass Co., Missouri.17,18,19
