     3 Hazel Virginia Page was born on 25 Aug 1891 in Tennessee.8,9,10 She and the infant child of her parents who died shortly after her birth appear to have been twins.14
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Memphis, Shelby Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents, Fisher Thomas Page and Lulie May Tuck.6 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents.7
     Hazel married Clarence Ellsworth Clark, son of Rev. Robert Bruce Clark and Adelaide Clark, on 5 Oct 1916 in Hamilton Co., Tennessee, with Rev. Bruce Clark, the groom's father, officiating.11,12
     She generally used her middle name, Virginia, after her marriage.15,16,17
     Virginia and Clarence settled in New York City after their marriage, living with his parents. They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Manhattan, New York Co., New York, in the household of Rev. Robert Bruce Clark and Adelaide Clark, his parents.18
     Hazel and Clarence appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of East Orange, Essex Co., New Jersey, at 182 Main St., enumerated 12 Apr 1930, as guests at the Palmer Hotel. Their son Robert was listed as living with them.
     Virginia and Clarence appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of New York, Bronx Co., New York, at 1656 University Ave., enumerated 19 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their apartment for $50 per month, and had lived in the building in 1935. Their son Robert was listed as living with them, as were his mother, and Florence Clark, his aunt.19
