     Burns B. Walker was born on 25 May 1860 in Hickman Co., Kentucky.6,7,8
     He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents, James Pembroke Walker and Modena A. Cobb.9 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky, in the household of his parents.10
     His father died before 1880, when Burns was about 18 years old.11
     Burns and Ben E. Gray purchased the Columbus Sentinel in Aug 1879, and renamed it the Times. Burns was editor.12,13
     Burns was living in the household of his brother John, in Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky, at the time of his death.14
     Burns died in Mar 1880 in Hickman Co., Kentucky, at age 19.3
