Ione's date and place of birth is unknown. There is some evidence suggesting she was a twin of her sister Irene, who was born 31 Jul 1836 in Kentucky, but she could have been been born after the family moved to Tennessee about 1837.If she was born in Kentucky she moved to Stewart Co., Tennessee


Ione died on 6 Sep 1841.1 She was buried in Riverview Cemetery, Eddyville, Caldwell Co., Kentucky
