     Jennie C. Pratt was born in Dec 1857 in New York.10,11,12
     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, in the household of her parents, Fredrick M. Pratt and Eliza M. Stratton.17
     She moved with her parents to Pennsylvania by 1870, first to Pleasantville, in Venango Co., then to Titusville, in Crawford Co. by 1880. She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Pleasantville, Venango Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents.18 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Titusville, Pennsylvania in the household of her parents.4
     Jennie married Thomas Jefferson Cobb, son of John Cobb and Maria Caffyn, on 23 Nov 1881.13,14,15
     Jennie was named an heir in the will of Maria Caffyn, mother of her husband, dated 3 Dec 1892 in Aurora, Dearborn Co., Indiana, in which she was to receive a 2/5 interest in a lot in Aurora and a strip of land from the home place. She also was to receive her choice of one of the three oil paintiing hanging in her mother-in-law's home after his sister-in-law selected one. She was also to receive the home place and all the remainder of her mother-in-law's estate, subject to a life estate of her father-in-law.19
     Jennie and Thomas apparently separated before 1900, as he was living with his mother in 1900, and she and the two daughters were living with her parents in Titusville, Pennsylvania. They remained there until she and their daughters moved to Buffalo after 1920.20,21,22,23 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Titusville, Pennsylvania in the household of her parents, with her daughters Ethelyn and Fredericka.5
     Jennie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Titusville, Pennsylvania in the household of her mother, Eliza M. Stratton, with her daughters, Ethelyn and Fredericka.8 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Titusville, Crawford Co., Pennsylvania, at 324 W. Spruce St., enumerated 14 Jan 1920. Her mother is listed as living with her.9
     She was a teacher in 1900, reported no occupation in 1910, and was a keeper of a notions store in 1920.24,25,26
     Her husband died on 23 May 1927 in Bedford, Bedford Co., Virginia.27,28
     Jennie returned to her native Buffalo with her two daughters after her mother died. She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, at 848 Potomac Ave., enumerated 4 Apr 1930, reporting she rented her home, for $65 per month, and owned a radio. Her children Ethelyn and Fredericka were listed as living with her.29
     Jennie died on 25 May 1936 at age 78.12 She was buried in North Collins Quaker Meeting House Cemetery, North Collins, Erie Co., New York.16
