     Carrie Imogene Kirkpatrick was born on 28 Jan 1895 in Texas.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Mills Co., Texas, in the household of her parents, Moses Clark Kirkpatrick and Carrie Imogene Maxwell.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census Texas in the household of her parents.5
     Her father died on 16 Jul 1913, when Carrie was 18 years old.16
     She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Mullin, Mills Co., Texas, in the household of her mother.7 She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Mullin, Mills Co., Texas, in the household of her mother.8
     She was a stenographer, working for a wholesale grocer in 1920 and an insurance company in 1930.7,8
     She continued to live in Brownwood after the death of her mother, but has not been found in the 1940 census. She appears in the various issues of the city directory, the last available being 1957, when she was a secretary with the Smith Bell Co., and living at 1019½ Coggin.17
     In her later years she was active in the Union Presbyterian Church in Brownwood, leading a Bible study group as late as 1977, when she was hosting the group in her home at 1510 Ave. D.18
     Carrie died on 3 Dec 1988 in Goldthwaite, Mills Co., Texas, at age 93.12,13,14 She was buried in Oakview Cemetery, Mullin, Mills Co., Texas.15
