     William married Marina Turner Bryan, daughter of Col. Henry Hunter Bryan and Elizabeth Ann Averett, on 21 Nov 1827.9,10,11
     He was a lawyer. He was clerk of the Circuit Court of Robertson Co., Tennessee, serving there as late as May 1833.14,15 By Oct 1834 he had been appointed clerk of the Tennessee Chancery Court, Western Division, in Dickson Co.16,17
     William was named an executor in the will of Col. Henry Hunter Bryan, his wife's father, dated 12 Jan 1835.18
     William and Marina moved to Charlotte, Dickson Co., Tennessee, shortly before his death.
     William died on 12 Aug 1835 in Charlotte, Dickson Co., Tennessee, at age 29.12,13
