     Margaret J. Kirkland was born on 6 Mar 1884 in Cumberland, Ontario, Canada.8,9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1891 Census of Buckingham, Ottawa Co., Quebec, in the household of her parents James Kirkland and Mary Jane Taylor.4 She appeared on the 1901 Census of Buckingham Twp, Labelle, Quebec, in the household of her parents.5
     Margaret married Frederick Legree, son of Charles Legree and Catherine Bovin, on 24 Dec 1906 in Nipissing, Ontario.12,13,14
     Margaret and Frederick appeared on the 1911 Census of Cobalt, Nipissing, in Ontario, at 11 Cobalt St.. Their son Wilburn was listed as living with them.17
     Margaret and Frederick, and their sons Wilburn and Homer, immigrated to the United States in 1919.18,19 They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Flint, Genesee Co., Michigan, at 1527 Lyon St., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Wilburn and Homer were listed as living with them, as was Daniel Bradley, an auto engineer, age 57, also from Canada.18
