Norma Natalia Peterson was born on 24 Feb 1922 in Portland, OregonG.5,6,7
     She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Silver Springs, Clackamas Co., Oregon, G in the household of her parents, August Peterson and Anna McDonald.23
     Neither Norma nor any other members of her family have been found in the 1940 census. They moved to Milwaukie, Clackamas Co., OregonG, where her parents lived the rest of their lives, soon after that, but their home there had not yet been built in 1940.
     She was in defense work at the time of her first marriage, living at 150 Marine St., Ocean Park, CaliforniaG.3

     Norma married first Clarence Wierenga, son of Andrew Wierenga and Tillie Dykstra, on 22 Jul 1943 in Stevenson, Skamania Co., WashingtonG, with Celo Brown, justice of the peace, offciating.8,9
     Norma and Clarence were divorced before 1947.10
     She was a press operator in a tin can factory by 1947, when she was living in Milwaukie, OregonG. She still reported that occupation in the 1950 census, but said she had not worked the prior week but was looking for work.24,25,26

     Norma married second Jack W. Ward, son of Reece Ward and Mary Omye, on 24 Apr 1947 in Clark Co., WashingtonG.11
     No other record of Norma's second husband has been found. In her application for her third marriage she said she was divorced, but was using her first married name, so it is unclear whether this marriage ended in divorce or annulment. No record of either has been found.10

     Norma married third Harold Dewain Wilcox, son of Samuel Dewain Wilcox and Caroline Hanson, on 8 Sep 1947 in Multnomah Co., OregonG, with Charles W. Redding, circuit judge, offciating.12
     Norma and Harold were divorced on 15 Oct 1948 in Multnomah Co., OregonG.13,14
     Norma appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon, at 2714 S E 14th Ave. G, enumerated 16 Apr 1950, listed as a guest in the home of John A. Schilling and his wife Jean.1
     By 1953 she was working in advertising.27

     Norma married fourth Fred W. Chambers on 22 Oct 1951 in Seattle, King Co., WashingtonG, with William Hoar, justice of the peace, offciating.15
     Norma and Fred were divorced in Jul 1952 in Portland, OregonG.16
     No other records have been found that can be identified as of her fourth husband.

     Norma married fifth Odus Lester Morris, son of Leslie Odos Morris and Maude McNatt, on 23 May 1953 in Stevenson, Skamania Co., WashingtonG, with Ruth G. Miles, justice of the peace, officiating. He had previously been married to Florence Juanita Guffey.17,18
      Norma sued Odus for divorce in Multnomah Co., OregonG, on grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment. He did not contest the suit, and her divorce was granted 7 Oct 1955.19
     She was a knitter, living at 4025 SE 104th Ave., Portland, OregonG, at the time of her sixth marriage.28

     Norma married sixth Homer McMillin, son of David Madison McMillin and Matilda Foster, on 15 Oct 1958 in Portland, Multnomah Co., OregonG, with Rev. Ray W. Branstetter officiating. He had previously been married to Dorothy Elizabeth Sims and Betty Blair.20
     Her husband died on 15 Jan 1978 in Lincoln Co., OregonG.29
     Norma died on 12 Jun 2003 in Lincoln Co., OregonG, at age 81.21,22
